Abegail Barrios is a jewelry designer based out of Toronto, Ontario. She works out of her studio/loft which was once a historic warehouse. Her jewelry is inspired by the idea of conversion, the belief you can create something distinctive and new by reimagining common materials like metal, chain and hardware with a modern design approach.
She studied fashion design and has worked in sales for a luxury clothing brand and iconic jewelry company, so she knows what people want to wear and how they want to wear it.
She focuses on creating simple yet standout silhouettes - eclectic pieces that are handcrafted, each one unique. Inspired by a woman’s natural silhouette and interior design (the idea of finding balance and unity within a space) she works primarily with beads, chains and metal findings. Her pieces build on one element and the end result is a play on contrast: edgy yet delicate, pretty designs whose origin comes from heavy metals and hardware.
Abegail creates jewelry for confident, charming women with their own sense of style. These pieces are not ruled by trends. Jewelry by Abegail Barrios Designs accentuates personal style, not dictates it.
